Parents meet with the director and staff to share
information and review previous evaluations the
child may have received from other healthcare or
educational providers. Families are also welcome
to take a tour of the facility and to observe. If
we determine that we can be of help, a time is scheduled
for the director and staff to work individually
with the child to determine starting points of a
customized instructional program.

Immediately after the evaluation, if time permits,
the director meets with the parents for an interpretive.
If the child has attended or will attend a preschool
or elementary school in addition to our program,
the director or student’s teacher at CI may also
communicate with the school staff to gather more
information. A signed permission to share information
form is needed for this exchange.
A comprehensive report is then written complete
with recommendations. The report is sent to the
family for review. Once a family decides to enroll,
a highly customized instructional program is developed
for the child whether attending the 1:1 sessions
or the weekday program.
