March 17-18 - 2008
The Cyzner Institute is proud
to host Nancy O'Hara, MD and Associates
The Cyzner Institute is excited to be the location
of the satellite clinic for nationally known DAN!
(Defeat Autism Now!) physician Nancy O'Hara MD,
MPH and her associates, Gail Szakacs, MD, and
Vicki Kobliner, MS, RD, CD-N. Their services are
open to everyone, regardless of their affiliation
with Cyzner Institute. One or more clinicians
are in Charlotte every month to maintain continuity
of care. When they are in town, they see new and
existing patients for biomedical treatment as
well as nutritional counseling. Their next visit
will be Monday, March
17th through Tuesday, March 18th. In
addition to seeing patients, Monday, March 17th
from 7:30pm to 9pm they will host a Gluten
Free/Casein Free Pantry Party for those
wanting to explore diet and nutrition as an intervention
for their children. We will offer food and supplement
samples and give ideas on menu options. Around
8:30p they will give a brief overview and do a
Q&A. This event is FREE but we ask you to register
so we have enough handouts and food. You can respond
to this e-mail to register or call Cyzner Institute
at 704-366-8260. PLEASE NOTE: the pantry party
will take place at the new
Cyzner Institute location at 7022 Sardis
Road, Charlotte, NC 28270 near Charlotte Christian!!
Please visit the Cyzner Institute website at www.cyznerinstitute.com
for additional information as well as how to make
a patient appointment. In addition to the March
visit, Dr. Gail Szakacs, MD will be in Charlotte
April 28th and 29th to see patients.
Please feel free to pass this e-mail along to
those you think would be interested. We would
appreciate any help you can give us in passing
along the word to parents about dietary intervention
as an option to help their child/family and about
these great resources available to them in Charlotte
to guide them in this area.
